Stone tools were made using the ignimbrite tuff found at Swansea Heads. “Bondi Points” were made by hammering “flakes” off pieces of the rock. These were used as knives or glued into spear heads.
The beach and platform supplied plentiful shellfish. Crustaceans included crabs and lobsters. There were molluscs aplenty; oysters on the rocks and pipis in the sand..
